#70: Learned “Wading in Deeper” by Katzenjammer. I’ve learned all the chords (Am, Em, G, Dm, C and F), but it’s hard to switch between them. It gets easier every time, which I’m excited about because this song fits my vocal range perfectly!
#71: Made a strawberry and marshmallow fluff sandwich. Good lord, this was the best midnight snack idea ever. I’m a sugar addict and kind of a child, so this tickled my cute little senses.
#72: Watched ‘The Walking Dead’ with a new group. I normally watch this seriously-epic series with my friend Ryan (neighbors with cable are the best), but he had a hot date, so I had to scramble for another place. Luckily, I remembered that my friend Calvin told me he watches it with his frat brothers, so I went to his friend’s apartment and watched with them. They were nice, and I liked being surrounded by so many other zombie fans! It reminded me of the “24″ parties we used to have in high school at my house… silence during the show OR ELSE, and rapid discussion during commercial breaks. Love.
Oh, Shane. How I’ll miss you.
#73: Got a new flavor of MSU Dairy Store ice cream. Since Michigan has FINALLY answered my prayers for getting an 80 degree winter season, I figured it was time to pig out on some insanely unhealthy MSU Dairy Store ice cream. I got the “Final Four Dribble” (in other words, something that’s easier to pronounce than “Sesquicentennial Swirl”).
Om nommy delicious.
#74: Participated in a focus group. Seems odd that I’m an ad major and haven’t been in a focus group yet, but my food science major friend Kelsey invited me to go to hers. We tried two kale chip samples, which were kinda weird, kinda good, but kind of an awful aftertaste. It was fun to talk and laugh and share with complete strangers (with the exception of bumping into two friends) about a product. Might have to consider participating in focus groups in the future if I’m low on cash…
